FuboTV to Add Viacom Channels

This morning, it was announced that FuboTV, a live TV streaming service, will soon begin to carry Viacom channels and networks. The primary channels that will be included are the following:

  • Comedy Central
  • MTV
  • VH1
  • BET
  • Nickelodeon
  • CMT
  • TV Land
  • Paramount Network
  • Nick Jr
  • TeenNick

The service has been more known for all of their sports channels that include FS1, NBC Sports Network, NFL Network and Big Ten Network, just to name a few. As of today, the streaming service is also carrying local CBS and NBC stations, as well as AMC and FX.

Fubo’s fubo Extra package will include these others Viacom channels too:

  • BET Her
  • BET Jams
  • BET Soul
  • MTV 2
  • MTV Classic
  • MTV Live
  • MTV U
  • Logo
  • Nicktoons
  • TeenNick
  • Nick Music

Tom Gorke, EVP, head of Distribution and Business Development, for Viacom, said this:

“FuboTV is quickly evolving as a major force in the streaming television space, and the addition of Viacom’s media networks as a cornerstone of fuboTV’s entertainment offering demonstrates the power and popularity of our global brands and programming.”

FuboTV currently has over 250,000 subscribers. It is available on the Apple TV app and a subscription to the service can be purchased from iTunes too. FuboTV’s plans cost $44.99 (fubo Plan) per month and $49.99 (fubo Extra) per month.

The Viacom channels have not gone live yet on the live TV streaming service, but they should become available soon. There is no specific launch day or time at this time.

FuboTV is available on the iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad, Apple TV and Mac.
