Apple did unveil a new version of macOS today at their WWDC 2019 keynote event. Near the end of the keynote, they talked about macOS, with the new name being macOS Catalina.
This new version of macOS comes with a variety of features, with one of the most important changes being that iTunes is now gone and has been replaced by the Apple Music, Apple TV and Apple Podcasts apps.
