Apple had acquired the infamous weather app- Dark Sky in March earlier this year. They had announced that the Website and Android App Support will be shut down on July 1st, 2020. But now they have announced in a blog post that the shutdown will be delayed by a month.

Service to existing users and subscribers of the Android app will now continue until August 1, 2020, at which point the app will be shut down. Subscribers who are active at that time will receive a full refund. Weather forecasts, maps, and embeds available on the Dark Sky website will also shut down on August 1, 2020.

As they have mentioned, if you are an active subscriber of Dark Sky when the App is taken off the Store on August 1, you will be able to claim a full refund.

Other than that the Dark Sky App is available on the App Store and will remain in the future. Apple will be using the Weather data from the App for the betterment of the stock Weather App.
