As we all know by now, the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus do not have the headphone port for listening to music via headphones, earbuds/EarPods, and auxiliary port for in your car usage. No, I am not telling you to drill a hole in your brand new iPhone 7, but instead telling you that there is an easier way to manage not having said port anymore.
Every iPhone 7 comes with the Lightning-to-3.5mm Headphone Jack Adapter in the box. It’s small and compact, therefore it can fit almost anywhere. With that said, here are four good places where users can put that new adapter.
- Wallet: If you’re a person like me, you use your debit and credit card a lot to pay for things. It’s just how our modern society works. With that said, put your adapter in the spot where you would normally keep cash, even if there is already cash in it. It’ll be in a convenient spot and best of all, it would be pretty hard to lose.
- Purse: This one is a given because not only is a purse typically spacious, but the adapter would easily fit inside it. However, I would recommend that you put it in a pouch or space that is not populated with a lot of other things. It will make it easier to find.
- Glove compartment: This one is perfect because it will always be in your car. If you are a person who just uses the iPhone’s headphone port (not iPhone 7 or 7 Plus) for playing music in your car, then not only will it be in your car, but it will be out of sight for thieves to have a reason to get into your car.
- Cup holder: The last one is another way to always have it in your car to play your music. As long as there are no drinks in it, you should be fine.
The iPhone 7s not having a headphone port could be considered a nuisance to people, but there are ways to get around it. We all know it would be easier to have the headphone port embedded into the iPhone 7, but as we all should know, Apple is looking towards the future, and that headphone port is not in it.
