Are you an iPhone 7 owner? Do you have headphones that still use that ancient headphone jack? Well you aren’t alone! After the iPhone 7 launched back in early September, panic and anger swept the globe when people realized that Apple’s new iPhone lacked a headphone jack. If you wanted to listen to music on your new iPhone 7, you either had to use the new Lightning EarPods provided in the iPhone 7’s packaging, or buy new bluetooth headphones. However, Apple also conveniently ships the iPhone 7 with a headphone to Lightning adapter or dongle. The problem with this is that you have to remember to take it with you wherever you go. Trust me, you’re going to want to have it with you when your buddy hands you the aux on a road trip. Also, the dongle is small and easy to lose when traveling or working remotely. Today we have a solution!   The APDapter is a simple keychain that will allow your headphone to Lightning adapter to hang on your keys. Pairing the dongle with an item that’s almost always with you, allows you to easily take your adapter with you wherever you go. Almost as smart as pairing a cell phone with “a widescreen iPod with touch controls” right?
The APDapter is a keychain with a traditional auxiliary connection on the end of it, so it holds your headphone to Lightning dongle securely to your keychain. All you have to do is unplug it from the keychain and now you have your dongle ready to go. Special thanks to the team at APDapter for sending us two of these to try out.
