Today, Sling TV has made their cloud DVR services available for Apple TV users. The add-on cloud DVR service will cost users an extra $5 per month.
Sling TV’s cloud DVR service can hold up to 50 hours of TV shows and movies on it. The feature has already been available on devices like Roku or Amazon Fire devices. However, users cannot record on every single channel.
One of their competitors, PlayStation Vue, allows for users to record data on a cloud DVR, but the content is deleted after 28 days. As of right now, there is no limit on Sling TV’s DVR service. YouTube TV’s is very similar to Sling TV, but users can only record on iOS and Android devices, and the service is only available in five markets as of this article.
Sling TV starts out at $20 a month for their Sling Orange plan, $25 a month for Sling Blue, and $40 a month for the Orange + Blue plans.
