How to Stream Stars Wars Movies on Star Wars Day

Avatar for David Becker

Today is Star Wars Day, which is the day where people across the world can celebrate the Star Wars movies and fandom by sitting down and watching the trilogy and other Stars Wars-related TV shows and movies.

Just for the day itself, TBS is having a marathon of all of the Star Wars movies (all but “The Force Awakens”) because it is a day of celebration, not to mention that it will probably get them good ratings.

As for how to stream these movies, there are surprisingly many options. The first is to either get a free trial of Sling TV, PlayStation Vue, Hulu with Live TV, or DirecTV Now to watch them on your devices for free.

The other way is to sign-in with your cable/satellite subscription in the WatchTBS app in the App Store and stream it from there. This app is available on the iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad, and Apple TV.

Another and more expensive way to do this is to buy and stream the films from iTunes. iTunes does carry all of the Star Wars movies. Once purchased, users can stream them on any device in the TV app.

We hope you have a very happy Stars Wars Day! May the fourth be with you!
