The popular journaling app, Day One, has decided to transition to a subscription-based service and will no longer be a premium app in both the App Store and Mac App Store.Â
Included in the newest update (version 2.3.2) is a new subscription service called Day One Premium. Features that the service includes is unlimited journals and photo storage, 25 percent off book orders (can be ordered with Apple Pay), the Mac app (cost $49.99 on the Mac App Store previously), and many more features. Future features of the service are audio recording, writing prompts, and video entries.
Day One Premium will cost $49.99 per year, but the company is giving a 30 percent off discount on the service for new members. Day One 2.0 users can get Day One Premium for 50 percent off ($24.99 for the first year).
Day One is available on the iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad, Mac, and Apple Watch.
