Great Last-Minute Apple Gifts for Valentine’s Day

Avatar for David Becker

With Valentine’s Day right around the corner, there are many of you that are probably still looking around trying to get that great gift for your significant other. Here are my recommendations on what to get that special someone in your life.

For the record, these products are going to be more so on the expensive side because they are Apple products, after all. I will do my best to make sure that I try to find the best ones at the best price, though.

  • Apple Watch: Apple has called this “their most personal device ever,” and it truly is since users can customize the watchband to match what they are wearing and modify the watch face so it can be made for someone who likes seeing their favorite pictures from their iPhone, someone who just wants the weather, battery life and something like a timer to have access to, and it can be for someone who really loves Toy Story. Another plus of this product is that if you both have this device, you can send each other your heartbeat to show that you care about them or want to show that you are thinking about them. However, the same thing can be done with an iPhone on iOS 11 or higher.AppleWatchToyStory
  • iPad: Whether it be an iPad Pro, iPad Mini or just a regular-sized iPad, they always make a good gift. They are great for watching videos from YouTube or streaming TV shows and movies from services like Netflix, Hulu or Prime Video.hero_ipad_family_2016_2x
  • Apple Pencil: Have a special someone in your life that is quite the artist and already has an iPad Pro? This could make a good companion device to them and allow for them to make their art even better and possibly accelerate their art career and potential. If they are doing it for fun, that’s not a bad choice either.iPad-Pro-Featured
  • Apple Music: Be the person that gives the gift of music! Apple does sell gift cards for their Apple Music streaming service. This could be great if you are someone who has been trying to get them to switch over from Spotify or someone who does not use a “your choice” music streaming service (as in you get to pick the song you want to listen to).872_front_small
  • iTunes/App Store gift cards: These are always good gifts to give since they can be used to buy music, TV shows, movies, books and apps. Who knows? With a movie rental from iTunes, your gift could come back to be a gift for you…or another romantic chick-flick.BhOcUPECEAAF3Hi
  • AirPods: The availability on these are pretty good right now and you can find them at a lot more retail stores than you could last years. With that said, these are great for someone who is still using earbuds with a cable or constantly complains about their earbuds getting tangled or falling out while working out (due to the cable).apple-airpods
  • HomePod: Have a lot of money burning a hole in your pocket? Look into getting them the new Apple HomePod speaker that just came out yesterday. This device has already been reported to have amazing sound quality, so if they are both of you like to listen to music amongst yourselves, this device will allow you to do so.siri-homepod-wide_largehomepod-black-white-hero
  • Steve Jobs: This movie came out in 2015 and is available on both DVD and Blu-ray + digital copy. Even though this movie is mostly a guy’s film, we thought we would put it in there. So, whether you’re a guy finding a gift for your significant other, treat yourself and buy this for yourself (if your girlfriend or wife is not or has not bought it for you already). After all, it is pretty cheap.
    • The following prices are currently at Best Buy
      • DVD: $3.99
      • Blu-ray: $9.99

  • Jobs: The Ashton Kutcher version of the Steve Jobs is available through Best Buy right now as well for a pretty cheap price. As for whether or not you’ll be able to get it in-store will depend on your location. However, if you want to save even more money, you can get it through FYE with a used copy for $1.49 (online)!
    • DVD:
      • Best Buy: $9.99
      • FYE: $1.49
    • Blu-ray:
      • Best Buy: $9.99
      • FYE: $5.09

Be sure to keep it tuned to TeamApple Toys tomorrow when we put up the latest Apple deals from Best Buy, Target and possibly other retailers so that you can get the best deal possible on these products.

Also, don’t forget that the Apple Pay Deal of the Week is still going on for 1-800-Flowers. All you have to do is pick out your flowers of choice to send to your special someone, pay with Apple Pay (purchases must be at least $15 or higher) and you will be able to save $15 on your purchase.
