As Apple continues to roll out its vision on how it wants all Apple Store’s to look, Apple today has announced that the Apple Store in the Westchester Mall Apple Store will close for modernisation works on Sunday, May 6th, 2018. The store originally opened to the Public in 2002 and had its last major renovation in 2005.
Apple announced the temporary closure of the store online with the message:
“We’re making the Apple store you love even lovelier.”
Apple is not slowing down with the refurbishment of its stores as 7 other Apple Store locations around the globe are either scheduled to close for or are currently closed for renovations. This is in aid of the companies new ‘2.0’ store layout with all the product benches and accessory shelves laid out; like in most common stores across the globe.
Most recently, Apple Bluewater reopened on March 24th in the U.K. which is when Appleosophy hosted its first ever meet-up.
