Apple releases minor update to iTunes on Mac and Windows

As with most major iOS updates, iTunes got a minor upgrade today. This update brings the version up to 12.7.5 and will most likely support the new software. The release notes certainly don’t indicate that there’s anything new. As they just say “app and performance improvements” with no mention of any major new features.

As with all updates, it’s recommended for all users to download as soon as possible. This update comes alongside many other updates that we’ve seen earlier today. As Apple released iOS 11.4, tvOS 11.4, watchOS 4.3.1 and the WWDC app getting an update bringing content for this year.

How to update iTunes:

You can update iTunes by updating it via the Mac App Store. If you downloaded iTunes via the Microsoft Store and you’ve got automatic Windows app updates on then the update will automatically complete. If you don’t have iTunes downloaded from the Microsoft Store then you will need to update via the Apple’s Software updater.
