Yesterday, we looked at the first part of an elegant iOS 12 concept designed by @theapplehub on Instagram. I am going to show you the remaining two of the five images sent to me. These two images all include 2 features each which would be welcomed in iOS 12.
Grouped Notifications
It is very annoying when you come back to your phone to see a million notifications. The notifications have been badly organized for a long time and have no form of organization. In this concept you can see that all notifications are grouped under respective apps. This would be very useful as you wouldn’t have to scroll through an entire page of notifications for the same app. Instead you could check notifications for each app one by one. This would keep notifications simple, organized and in order of time.
Locking Apps
We have already discussed this in the previous article. Apps could be locked and then you could use Touch ID if you have a 5S, 6, 6S, SE, 7 or an 8. Or if you have an iPhone X, you could use Face ID. This would allow you to keep personal/private content hidden.
Battery
It is quite annoying that you have to slide down to the CC to see the battery percentage on the X. In this concept, instead of having the battery icon, you can see the battery percentage. Many people would prefer this over the battery percentage. This is because you can quickly check your remaining battery without having to go into the CC. I personally prefer the battery icon as it looks sleeker but at the same time the battery percentage showing would be more convenient.
Notification Alerts
Don’t you find it annoying when your scrolling through a web page or playing a game and a notification interrupts you? I do. In this concept, the notification alert is instead a number that pops up in the status bar. This is to show you that you have an unread notification while also not disturbing your activity. Quite a sleek feature if you ask me.
