Apple celebrates Pride 2018 with employee celebrations and custom store displays promoting the new Pride Watch Band and Watch Face

After the WWDC18 keynote concluded last Monday. Apple released a brand-new Pride Watch Face and Pride Watch Bands. To celebrate Pride month across the globe, Apple is now promoting the new products in certain retail stores.

Apple has selected 13 retail stores from a range of countries to feature the custom Apple Watch display tables dedicated to showcasing the Pride Band and Watch Face. Just like last year, Apple continues to use the Pride version of their logo which can be seen at either end of the table.

Two of the thirteen stores that are currently featuring the Pride Band and Pride Face are Apple Regent Street in London and Apple The Summit in Alabama. With private #ApplePride events taking place yesterday. The celebration being held at Birmingham’s, Haven.

Retail staff invited to the celebrations, wore Apple Pride shirts. Alongside, Autographing a commemorative six-color Birmingham sign and listened to speakers.

Apple first introduced a Pride Watch Band for employees who took part in the Pride Parade back in 2016. With it being available for anyone to purchase in September. However, Apple updated the band’s design this year to make sure it aligns with the stripes on the Pride Watch Face.
