Apple adds support for viewing and editing pro RAW files in Final Cut Pro X update

Following today’s update to GarageBand. Apple has released Final Cut Pro X update which adds support for viewing and editing pro RAW files from the DJI Inspire 2 drone in Final Cut Pro X. This update brings the app to version 10.4.3. Following on from the major update a few months ago which added support for new Inspector Tools and Closed Captioning. This update also comes after the last update which included bug fixes.

This update is free for users who have already purchased Final Cut Pro X and costs $299.99 for users who haven’t purchased Final Cut Pro X beforehand.

  • Support for viewing and editing ProRes RAW files from DJI Inspire 2 drone with the DJI D-Log setting
  • Deleting unused render files from a Compound clip in the browser works correctly
  • Fixes an issue that caused some Panasonic P2 video files to be imported with mixed-down audio channels
