Apple today released iOS 12. This update features improved performance, Memoji, Screen Time, new Do Not Disturb options, Siri Shortcuts, iCloud Photos improvements, a smarter and safer Safari with Safari 12.0, and a few redesigned apps.

iOS 12 represents a well-needed update. iOS 11’s performance and battery life were terrible in the first few months, leading up to the official release of iOS 11.2, featuring Apple Pay Cash and more.

Apple claims:

iOS 12 brings performance improvements across the system and to more devices than any previous version, supporting back to iPhone 5s introduced in 2013. Camera launches up to 70 percent faster, the keyboard appears up to 50 percent faster and typing is more responsive. When there is a lot going on across the system, apps can launch up to twice as fast.

Users can update via Settings -> General -> Software Update for all devices capable of running iOS 11!
