Apple today launched a special online store in the US to provide 10% discounted services for retired veterans, active military, and their families to purchase Apple products. In addition to the iPhone, the discount also covers products such as iPad, Mac, Apple Watch, Apple TV, HomePod, AirPods, and phone cases, watch bands, as well as third-party accessories.

The discount is 10%, for instance, the iPhone XS original price is $999, the military can buy in $899; the original $749 iPhone XR can be purchased for just 674 US dollars. “The Veterans and Military Purchase Program (“Program”) is a benefit provided by Apple Inc. (“Apple”) to current and Veteran members of the U.S. Military, National Guard and Reserve”, says Apple.

Apple has been offering teachers, students, and members of educational institutions a discounted price to buy Apple products, and now the military and their families are included in the special program. In contrast, Apple’s 10% discount for military personnel is actually greater than the educational discount.
