A truck carrying “sensitive material” for Apple crashed on Highway 101 in San Jose, California, approximately 10 miles from the Apple’s HQ Campus on 1 Infinite Loop, Cupertino California.
The two retired police officers who were operating the contracted SIS Securities van were armed, which is typically something Apple does not do when moving iPhone stock shipments to locations, however some have speculated that the van carried confidential shredded documents or even iPhone XI prototype models which were being transported from an undisclosed location to Apple’s Cupertino Headquarters, which makes sense for Apple Executives to possibly test the new models before the EVT (Engineering Validation Test) testing phase begins.
The tragic crash happened at approximately 3:30 am on Wednesday, driving out of Los Angeles when Mr Richard Bartolo was asleep at the back of the cabin.
SIS Securities is an independent company, which focuses on missions like this. Sources inside Apple reported to AppleInsider that the company was under contract by Apple at the time, however, the sources refused to comment on the possible contents inside the van. California Highway Patrol says nothing appears to be stolen from the van, and that foul play is not suspected.

Mr Lee also noted that the drivers also kept the mandatory log and have adhered to the rest schedules for drivers operating such vehicles.
Some have also suspected that apart from potential iPhone prototype hardware, potential self-driving car technology, AirPower resources or even augmented reality headset resources may have been in the van, especially considering that the drivers were armed with guns, so typical mundane things probably would not be protected with armed guards, but with Apple being a very secretive company, it is likely we will never know.
Apple not only has refined to confirm or deny whether the payload in the truck was their property, but they have also declined to comment to NBC News and other sources. Appleosophy requested comment from Apple, but we have yet to hear a reply from them.
