Today marks the first day that Hulu has its new prices. We originally reported on these new prices last month.

The version of Hulu with ads goes down to $5.99 per month. New customers will be able to sign up for the service for that price and current customers should see a reduction in their bill next month, according to Cord Cutter News.

Hulu’s ad-free version will be staying at the same price of $11.99 per month.

Hulu with Live TV gets a little more expensive at $44.99 a month, with the ad-free version of Hulu with Live TV (on-demand and Hulu catalog content is ad-free, not the actual channels) now being priced at $50 a month.

This all comes at a time where Netflix is raising their prices on their service, so as a way to stay competitive, Hulu knocked down their ad tier version of their service by $2. Hulu did also recently add Discovery networks to their list of channels, so that could be a reason for the Live TV increase.

If you do subscribe to the service through iTunes or are looking to do so, Hulu has adjusted the price to the new $5.99 per month price tag.

Users can watch both Hulu and Hulu with Live TV on the iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad, Apple TV and Mac.
