The day has come where you no longer need an Apple TV to play your Apple Music songs and playlists. As of today, Amazon Fire TV devices are now capable of playing Apple Music.

Amazon already has Alexa devices that have the ability to play music from Apple Music. If you are someone who has added Apple Music to your Alexa device and also have an Amazon Fire TV device, you should immediately be able to play Apple Music from the Fire TV device.

For those that do not have an Amazon Alexa device, you must download the Apple Music app onto your Fire TV. After you have done that and signed in, you should be able to start listening to your Apple Music songs and playlists from there on your Fire TV device.

This does work on both the Fire TV stick and boxes. However, as of right now, this is only available in the United States.

Amazon has said that they will be adding it to the United Kingdom “in the next few weeks,” according to The Verge
