UPDATE: The store is back up and Apple released two new iPads.
The Apple Store is currently down and this usually means that Apple is adding new hardware to their website. The March Special Event’s main focus is going to be on a new TV streaming subscription service and a new digital magazine subscription service. Evidence of the digital magazine subscription service has been found in the 4th developer beta of iOS 12.2.
Although the Special Event’s focus will be on the new subscription services there have been a lot of rumors of hardware releasing at the March Event. These include the AirPods 2, iPod 7th Gen, new budget-model iPad, iPad Mini 5 and the long-awaited AirPower.
A tweet by Mark Gurman, a Bloomberg reporter, hints at new iPad and iMac models to be released at the Special Event.
“If Apple was to be planning, say, new iPad and iMac announcements for this week, it would make a real statement about how much it wants to focus its March 25th event on its news and video services”
Stay tuned for updates.
