UPDATE: Apple did not release a new iPod touch and released new AirPods instead.
According to a tip received by MacRumors, Apple may release a new iPod touch which could release early as tomorrow. The new iPod touch may release early as 7:35 AM CDT as Apple has been releasing new products this week around that time but we can’t confirm if it will be released around that time again but, we see it as a possibility.
“MacRumors received a tip earlier this month claiming that Apple would announce new iPads, iMacs, and iPods on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday of this week, and so far this information has proved to be accurate with the arrival of new iPad Air and iPad mini models on Monday and an iMac refresh today. Naturally, we now expect Apple to introduce a new iPod touch tomorrow.”
The last update the device received was in July 2015 and the iPod remains available in six colors with 32GB and 128GB of storage for $199 and $299.
