Right before the Stanley Cup Playoffs begin, the NHL app will now be available to users of CarPlay, according to MacRumors. Users of the app will be able to listen to games on the radio directly from the NHL app in CarPlay.
In the CarPlay version of the app, users will be able to see a list of games that are being played that day and the time that those games start. Users can also decide whether or not they want to listen to the home or opposing team’s radio broadcast.
To really take advantage of the dashboards using CarPlay, users will additionally be able to see the score of each game in real time.
There is no subscription to this and listening to the games through the radio is free through the NHL app, which is great for fans.
