It has been reported this morning that Target will be recalling some of their Heyday 3ft Lightning cables. Approximately 90,000 cables are going to be recalled.
The issue involves the metal around the cord which can electrically be charged if it contacts the USD wall charger plug prongs while charging, according to NBC News.
Target has gotten 14 reports of the cables burning users’ fingers, as well as the cables smoking, catching fire and sparks flying while in use.
It is suggested that if you are one of the people out there who has one of these cables, that you should immediately take it to your local Target store to get a full refund.
