Our TV streaming picks have come again this week and over the course of the following week. This week, we’re adding a little twist to it.
TV:
- WWDC 2019: Apple’s WWDC 2019 keynote will be on Monday, June 3, and showcase Apple’s newest versions of iOS, macOS, watchOS and tvOS. The keynote for the event will begin at 1 p.m. ET on Apple’s website and Apple Events app on the Apple TV. Click here to read our latest predictions for the event!
- MasterChef Junior (Season 7, Episode 15): The season seven finale of the show begins on Tuesday, June 4, at 8 p.m. ET.
- Fear the Walking Dead (Season 5 Premiere): Lead by Morgan and Alicia, the group lands in uncharted territory in search of survivors to help; everything is not as it seems in this foreboding new land. The episode will begin on Sunday night, June 2, at 9 p.m. ET on AMC.
Movies:
- Steve Jobs (2015 movie): Like we reported earlier this week, the movie will become available on HBO NOW and HBO Go on June 1. It goes into details about the life and legacy of Steve Jobs, the Apple co-founder and former CEO.
- Home Again: Recently separated from her husband, Alice Kinney decides to start over by moving back to Los Angeles with her two daughters. While celebrating her 40th birthday, Alice meets Harry, George and Teddy, three young filmmakers who need a place to live. Complications soon arise when she agrees to let the men stay in her guesthouse temporarily. As Alice develops a budding romance with Harry, her newfound happiness comes crashing down when her ex shows up with a suitcase in his hand. The movie is currently available to stream in the Showtime app and their on-demand catalog. Additionally, the movie will be available to stream on Prime Video on June 7.
- The Shaggy Dog: Who doesn’t love a good throwback? Deputy District Attorney Dave Douglas (Tim Allen) is a workaholic and frequently puts his job before his family. After taking on a case involving an animal laboratory, he becomes infected with a top-secret serum that transforms him into a dog. Life as a canine gives Dave a new perspective on the importance of family, but before he can make things right with his wife and kids, he must sniff out the villains responsible for the serum. The movie is currently available to stream on Showtime’s app and on-demand.
Sports:
- Chevrolet Detroit Grand Prix Race 1 (IndyCar): The race will be on Saturday, June 1, at 3:30 p.m. on NBC.
- NBA Playoffs Game 2 (NBA): The game will be between the Golden State Warriors and the Toronto Raptors. Click here to find out how to stream the game.
- Rockies vs. Cubs (MLB): The game between the Colorado Rockies and Chicago Cubs will be broadcasted on MLB Network on Wednesday, June 5, at 8 p.m. ET.
