It was reported in the DirecTV NOW subreddit tonight that AT&T streaming service, recently renamed AT&T NOW TV, was showing the local PBS station in the Philadelphia area.
Right now, YouTube TV is the only live TV streaming service that is said to have plans to put PBS stations on their streaming service, which is set to happen by the end of this year. However, nothing has been said by AT&T, DirecTV or PBS for when it comes to putting PBS on DirecTV NOW/AT&T NOW TV.
The channel has since been updated by the local Philadephia FOX station that was showing it, but it still could be a sign for thing to come this year for DirecTV NOW/AT&T NOW TV.
DirecTV NOW/AT&T NOW TV is available on the iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad, Apple TV and Mac, and has two plans; one is the Plus plan that gives you 45+ channels and costs $50 per month, and the second plan is the Max plan that gives you 60+ channels at $70 per month.
