In what could be considered a weird move by Sling TV, they have added the ACCNX channel to their channel lineup. This channel is set to be an alternative to the new ACCN, which launches this week.

Right now, the only live TV streaming services that are going to be set to have ACCN are Hulu with Live TV, PlayStation Vue and YouTube TV.

ACCNX will be an alternative to the ACCN channel. What it means is that ACCNX will give you more ACC games and sporting events to watch live, whereas ACCN will only be covering one game at a time. Think of it as like an ESPN 3 version of ACCN, which ironically is operated by ESPN.

This is not to say that Sling TV will never get the real ACCN channel, but it is a weird move given the fact that they are a primary destination for sports fans who want the ESPN networks for watching sporting events, such as the 2019 college football season that starts on August 24.

Sling TV did put out a tweet in March 2019, saying that they do carry it (ACCN), but that it was mistaken for the ESPN ACC Extra channel.

Sling TV is available for $25 a month for both their Sling Orange and Sling Blue plans. It is available to be used on the iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad, Apple TV and Mac.

The Streamable had the same story, and the digital extra is facing a DROP if Sling doesn’t come to terms in having the full MAIN channel. SO this may vanish from the guide in 3 days.
