Another week and another week of streaming picks for the weekend and over the course of next week.

TV:

  • Apple’s September 2019 Event: Apple will be having a live event that is set to unveil the next version of the iPhone and Apple Watch, as well as announced the release dates for their new operating systems, such as iOS 13 and macOS Catalina.

  • The Middle: This series has nine seasons, all of which are available through IMDb TV (nine seasons) and the Freeform app (one season).

  • The Odd Couple (2015 series): All three seasons of the show can be streamed through CBS All Access, which is also available on Apple TV Channels

Movies:

  • Booksmart: We recommended this movie a couple of weeks ago, but now since it is available to rent on iTunes, we figured that we would recommend it again. The movie can be rented from iTunes for $5.99.

  • Robots: This is a great animated film, especially since it was done in 2005. The animation was definitely before its time. Another added plus to this film is that it has Robin Williams in it. Robots can be streamed in the History Channel Vault. Additionally, it can be rented on iTunes for $3.99.

  • Harry Potter: For this, I am talking about the entire movie trilogy. All the way from the first movie to the last. Luckily for you, you will be able to do that with the SyFy app after you sign-in with your TV provider credentials. If you want to avoid that, you can buy the entire movie series on iTunes for $79.99, which honestly is not a bad price if you think about it.

Sports:

  • #6 LSU vs. #9 Texas (College Football): This game will be on Saturday, September 7, at 7:30 p.m. ET on ABC.

  • Pittsburg Steelers vs. New England Patriots (NFL): On the first official Sunday of the 2019 NFL season, the Steelers and Patriots will go at it for the first Sunday Night Football game of the regular season. The game will be on Sunday, September 9, at 8:20 p.m. ET on NBC.

  • Boston Red Sox vs. New York Yankees (MLB): You cannot resist a good rivalry, especially with the MLB regular season ending in less than a month. With that said, the game will be played on Saturday, September 7, at 4:05 p.m. ET on FS1.
