It would appear as though we know the official release date for Apple’s newest version of macOS.
The newest version of macOS will be called “macOS Catalina” and was originally unveiled at WWDC 2019. It is set to come with a variety of new updates, with one of the top ones being that Apple is going to be killing off iTunes and replacing it with separate Apple Music, Apple TV and Apple Podcasts apps.
Apple will also be adding Apple Arcade abilities to the Mac as well. Once macOS Catalina is released, Apple Arcade will be available on all Apple devices, such as the iPhone, iPad Apple TV and Mac.
It was shown today on Apple’s Danish website that the release date for macOS Catalina will be on October 4, 2019, according to MacRumors.
In the past week, Apple has released other new operating system updates, such as iOS 13, iPadOS, watchOS 6 and tvOS 13. macOS Catalina will be the last big software update from Apple this year.
