With the release of the new Apple Arcade, Apple is now selling Microsoft’s Xbox One controller through the Apple Store’s website.

This is likely being done because of the fact that users can now games with an Xbox One controller with games on the new Apple Arcade gaming service. The Xbox One controller itself can be connected to a device like the iPhone, iPad, Mac or Apple TV via Bluetooth.

On the Apple Store’s website, you will find that the Xbox One controller through Apple costs $59.95. It is also said through Apple’s website that they will not be available in physical Apple Stores until Monday, October 14.

Additionally, this is how Apple describes the controller through their online store:

“Experience the enhanced comfort and feel of the new Xbox Wireless Controller, featuring a sleek, streamlined design and textured grip. Its Bluetooth connectivity lets you play your favorite games on an iPhone, iPad, and Apple TV. The controller also offers up to twice the wireless range and the convenience of a 3.5mm stereo headset jack for connecting any compatible headset.”

The Apple devices mentioned above will also be able to connect PlayStation 4 DualShock controllers, but Apple does not currently sell them at this time. For those that do have one, you can connect it to your Apple device of choice and use it on Apple Arcade.

Apple Arcade is $4.99 a month after a one-month long free trial of the service. Note that in order for the Xbox One controller (and the PS4’s) to work on your device of choice, you must be running iOS 13, iPadOS 13, macOS Catalina and tvOS 13 or later.
