For those who have been needing a method to stream A Charlie Brown Christmas and to do it for free (or at least no additional cost), that day has finally come.
A Charlie Brown Christmas can currently be streamed right from the ABC app. This is the first time that the app has ever had the Christmas special, even though ABC has been airing the special on their network for decades.
Note that even though it is available on the ABC app, it is not available to stream on Hulu, which typically airs ABC TV shows and specials the day after they air on the network. However, if you have Hulu with Live TV, you can access A Charlie Brown Christmas from ABC’s on-demand.
The good news is that ABC is making it so that those who want to watch it in their app will not have to sign-in with TV provider credentials. It’s completely ad-supported just like regular Hulu, just in the ABC app.
ABC’s app is available for free in the App Store and can be downloaded and watched on the iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad, Apple TV and can be watched from ABC’s website on the Mac.
