One of the brand new and successful TV series on Apple TV+ will be experiencing some production delays because of the coronavirus pandemic.

“The Morning Show” was scheduled for its second season to be released sometime this fall on Apple TV+. However, those plans are likely to change now since the production of the show is going to be delayed because of coronavirus.

Media Res CEO Michael Ellenberg said this in a statement to Deadline:

“In concert with our dedicated partners at Apple, we have concluded it would be prudent to take a two-week hiatus to assess the situation and ensure the safety of the incredible people who make this show.”

The production suspension for the second season of the series is expected to last two weeks.

Apple has already canceled its rumored March 2020 Apple event, where they were going to likely unveil the new iPhone SE 2. The company has also pulled out of SXSW 2020 and there are already rumors that Apple may have to cancel or postpone WWDC 2020 this June.

There has been no other mention of other Apple TV+ shows that have halted their production due to the coronavirus.

We will keep you up-to-date as much as possible of additional production suspensions and delays for Apple TV+ content and Apple events when there is new information. Stayed tuned, please.
