The 2020 “Sonic” movie will soon be placed digitally on iTunes after Americans have been avoiding movie theaters due to the coronavirus pandemic circulating nationwide.
Sonic will be coming to the iTunes Store on March 31 for those who are looking to purchase it and watch it while they are home under their self-imposed national quarantine.
Right now, consumers can pre-order the movie on iTunes for $19.99 and it will be the same price when it is released.
At this time, there is no mention of the movie going to a streaming service like Netflix, Hulu, Prime Video, Apple TV+, HBO Max or Peacock in the coming weeks after it is released.
The DVD and Blu-ray versions of “Sonic” are set to be released on May 19, 2020.
“Sonic” stars Ben Schwartz as the voice of Sonic the Hedgehog and Jim Carrey as the villan in the film, Dr. Robotnik. So far, the movie has made over $300 million dollars at the box office globally.
