It has been rumored for a few months that Apple could be in the process of making a new pair of AirPods for consumers.
Jon Prosser, the founder of Front Page Tech and a newly-known Apple product launch leaker, has recently tweeted that Apple could be releasing some new AirPods next month.
New AirPods (which were supposed to be at the March Event) are now ready to go.
Probably alongside the MacBook Pro next month.

According to the tweet, these new AirPods were supposed to be shown at the March 2020 event that never due to the coronavirus pandemic in the United States. The tweet also hints at a new MacBook Pro that could also be released next month too.
DigiTimes and The Apple Post have reported that the listed “AirPods Pro Lite” as one of the products Apple could be releasing in the second quarter of 2020
The price of these new “AirPods Pro Lite” are currently unknown, but regular AirPods start at $199 and the AirPods Pro cost $249 through Apple.
