It has been reported through multiple users on Reddit that Ollie’s Bargain Outlet is now accepting Apple Pay as a payment method in its stores.
Ollie’s Bargain Outlet is a department retail chain that sells items such as food, sporting goods, houseware and other everyday items. The company’s stores can be found in Indiana, Michigan, Oklahoma and Texas.
It’s website and other users in Reddit have pointed out that the stores are now accepting Apple Pay as a form of payment when making purchases.
This comes at a time when payment methods like Apple Pay are more crucial than ever during the coronavirus pandemic, not just in its security, but that it prevents people from using physical cash that is considered quite dirty and an easy way to spread germs, including the coronavirus.
Apple Card users can now get two percent in Daily Cash when using the Apple Card on their iPhone or Apple Watch in its stores.
