Several months before the usual launch, leaker Jon Prosser has shared, along his sources, what they believe the iPhone 12 models pricing might be, suggesting a price increase for at least one of the models.
Jon Prosser and his team claim that the 6.1-inch model will have its price increased, up from $699 to $799, yet this will be the budget model, featuring the lower price. The higher-end models, the successors of iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max, will face the same pricing as usual, $999 and $1099.
The sources that rumored that Apple’s 5.4-inch iPhone 12 will be priced from $649, making it the model affordable iPhone to be expected in the fall, are the same that correctly provided many information towards the new budget 2020 iPhone SE model, a few weeks before its release.
However, some of the most exciting the rumored features for the iPhone 12 models include 5G cellular capabilities, OLED displays, and LiDAR scanner. Yet, we will see the same rear camera setup, 2 cameras for the iPhone 12 model and 3 rear cameras for the higher-end Pro models.
