As of yesterday, I have been a Mac user for six years. It has been quite a journey.
My first Mac was a mid-2012 MacBook Pro that I purchased at Best Buy after I graduated from high school in May 2014.
This MacBook Pro served all throughout the five years I was in college. It helped me start my writing career by writing for a couple of other tech blogs on the website before I started writing for TeamApple News in 2016 (acquired by Appleosophy in 2019).
By late-January 2019, I started writing for Appleosophy and with a few articles taking off here and there, I am here.
In May 2019, I purchased a 2017 MacBook Pro from Best Buy as a late birthday and college graduation gift to myself.
Over the years, I will admit that I have probably spent over $100 in the Mac App Store. Apps like this include Tweetbot for Mac, CARROT Weather, MarsEdit, Day One and Deliveries, just to name a few.
Switching over to the Mac has been one of the best experiences of my life and it is an aspect of my life that I hope to continue for a long time to come.
