First released in April 2019, Beats is officially announcing four new colors to their Powerbeats Pro wireless earbuds today. At a price tag of $249.95, the new Powerbeats Pro will go on sale on June 9 with four new colors, Spring Yellow, Cloud Pink, Lava Red, and Glacier Blue.
Apart from the new colors, there are no other changes when compared with the original Powerbeats Pro. They will provide a massive 9 hours playback time and more than 24 hours with the charging case. They are IPX4 sweat and water-resistant. That means you can use it at the gym or other adventurous activities. But submersion in water is not recommended.
Just like on the AirPods, the Powerbeats Pro will have an H1 chip which allows easy pairing and other features like ”Hey Siri”. They have on-ear control on each earbud which allows changing volume and tracks. The adjustable hooks make it more comfortable to wear and with the 4 extra ear tips included, we can tune it to the best comfort.
There is no active noise cancellation in this model. Also, the charging case does not support wireless charging. So the only option available is the lightning port. Even though wireless charging case and noise cancellation are important features, Beats expect good feedback from customers with the new release.
