Subway is one of the most popular sub sandwich and fast food shops in the U.S., and its iOS app has finally received support for using Apple Pay.
A couple days ago, the company released its newest version, Version 25.0.0., of its app:
“Introducing Apple Pay and Curbside Pickup!
Ordering the meals you love is now even easier with Apple Pay, and more convenient with Curbside Pickup. Take advantage of contactless ordering: select “Curbside Pickup” in your cart, tell us your car’s make and model, and we’ll bring your food out when you arrive. Update today for all of the latest features and fixes!”
The company has been accepting it in its restaurants since Apple Pay launched in 2014.
Apple Card users are now able to get two percent in Daily Cash when making a purchase through the company’s app or restaurants.
This feature does not work at this time on Subway’s app. The only way to use Apple Pay at Subway is through its restaurants and app.
Other major fast-food companies that accept Apple Pay in its apps are Jimmy John’s, McDonald’s, Burger King and Sonic Drive-In.
