VIZIO SmartCast TVs Begin Offering Apple TV App in US and Canada With Free Three-Month Apple TV+ Subscription

Smart TV maker VIZIO has announced that it will begin supporting the Apple TV app on its 2016 and newer SmartCast TVs in the United States and Canada.

Eligible owners from the US and Canada can also sign up for Apple TV+ and enjoy three months free. This offer begins today and can be availed till October 16, 2020.

Apple TV App allows users to watch TV shows and movies, users own iTunes libraries. It also boasts a collection of 100,000 shows and movies for users to choose from.

The Apple TV App has already been made available to select Roku and Amazon Fire TV devices, and Samsung models.
LG will also make the Apple TV app available for its 2018 OLED Smart TV users, starting today. Sony is expected to follow suit later this year, on its own Smart TV lineup according to Apple.
