The Halloween movies don’t stop, but now we have Christmas movies also starting to make their way into 2020. I guess you could say the holidays will be at war over the next several days.
Still, the good news is that there is plenty of TV to be watching right now, which helps with those of us that are in colder parts of the country.
TV:
- “The Newsroom”: If you’re wanting to watch and see just how the news was created in the early 2010s, this Aaron Sorkin TV series could be just what you are looking. It is available to stream on HBO Max.
- “Manifest”: For those who were fans of the “Lost” TV series that aired on ABC for six seasons, this one is a good sequel. The first two seasons can be streamed on Hulu, with the third season coming next year.
- “Jericho”: Running out of supplies, a friends becoming enemies and having to stay close to family. It’s like we had the script to 2020 and didn’t even know it. With that said, this TV series that has some aspects of the coronavirus pandemic in it can be streamed on Netflix and CBS All Access.
Movies:
- “All the President’s Men”: Want to learn more about one of the biggest scandals in American political history? This movie should be able to provide that. It can be streamed on HBO Max.
- “The Fault in Our Stars”: This movie says it’s about those who deal with cancer, but if you watch it closely, it’s a story about life. It can be streamed on Disney+.
- Hallmark Countdown to Christmas 2020: Yes, the annual time for Hallmark to air its new Christmas films for the year has come and starts today. You can find out more on how to stream Hallmark Channel and its Christmas movies by clicking here.
