Looks like the folks at Google and YouTube are trying to give people more of an incentive to stay indoors during the upcoming Thanksgiving weekend.
Starting today, YouTube TV is giving its customers a free preview of HBO Max and Cinemax. HBO Max regularly costs an additional $14.99 a month when having the subscription tied to the user’s YouTube TV account. Cinemax costs an additional $9.99 a month.
HBO Max features quite the catalog of content, including original HBO shows like “Game of Thrones,” “Silicon Valley” and “Succession.” The service also has other popular TV shows on it like “The Big Bang Theory” and “Friends,” as well as movies such as “SCOOB!,” “Suicide Squad” and “Galaxy Quest.”
To get the HBO Max content through YouTube TV, users will have to download the HBO Max app and sign in with their YouTube TV account credentials.
