AirPods Max are the latest offering from Apple’s AirPods line. Apple announced AirPods Max on December 8, 2020. Featuring a new over-ear design with Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) and Spacial Audio alongside other AirPods exclusives. AirPods Max’s shipping dates slipped constantly following the release. Shipping dates reached a point where customers could only get the Max in March, indicating strong demand. The headphones are now available to order with specific models shipping as early as February.
The specific models of AirPods Max include the ‘Silver’ and ‘Space Grey’ colour variants, each available to pick up for $549. The Max’s over ear design is constructed with premium materials including stainless steel and aluminium. AirPods Max come in 5 distinct colours which include Space Grey, Silver, Sky Blue, Green and Pink.
AirPods Max also support wired audio playback through the included Lightning port on the headphones. They also come with replaceable and interchangeable ear cups. Apple claims the battery to last upto 20 hours with Active Noise Cancellation on and in wireless mode.
Buyers can head to Apple’s AirPods Max ‘buy’ page and order Silver or Space Grey models to avail the earlier shipping times.
