Over the last month or so, multiple live TV streaming services have announced they are adding WGN America to their lineup.Â
So far, we have seen this with YouTube TV, Hulu with Live TV and fuboTV.Â
WGN America will launch on Vidgo on Friday, December 15.Â
The network airs original programming such as “NewsNation Now” and “Carter.” It also airs a variety of syndicated TV shows like “Last Man Standing,” “J.A.G.” and “Blue Bloods.”
The deal between Vidgo and WGN was not said, in terms of how much the live TV streaming service will pay for it, but it is said to be a deal that will last multiple years.Â
WGN America executive Vice President Sean Compton said he is looking forward to what the network will bring to Vidgo.Â
“Today’s announcement continues the steady strategic expansion of WGN America,” he said. “We are excited to be adding Vidgo’s customers the network’s reach, and to be bringing NewsNation and Banfield to more viewers who can watch us whenever and wherever they desire.”
Vidgo costs $54.99 a month and is available to stream on the iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad, Apple TV and Mac.Â
