Discover Mobile has released a new update to its iOS and iPadOS apps that have redesigned its widgets.
Widgets are available on the iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad through iOS and iPadOS 14.
Here are the notes from the app update, which is Version 21.01:
“With our new and improved Widget, check your Discover account balances and get easy access to your account – right from your Home Screen.”
The new widget that was released on Monday allows users to check their account balance and features like sending money and be a shortcut to app overall.
To add a new widget to your iPhone or iPad, hold down any part of the screen. Once the apps start wiggling, the top right-corner of the screen should have a plus symbol button. Tap that and it will enable you to add widgets based on the apps you have on your iOS or iPadOS device that have been updated with widget support.
Those who do have Discovery as their credit card provider can put their Discover cards in the Apple Wallet app and use Apple Pay from their iPhone or Apple Watch in stores too. It also works for online purchases through the two devices mentioned, as well as the iPad and Mac.
