Apple has updated its Apple Maps today to show vaccination locations for COVID-19.
Apple has partnered with VaccineFinder, a service developed by Boston Children’s Hospital to show COVID vaccination locations across the U.S.
Users can search for the locations in the app in the Find Nearby menu or ask Siri “Where can I get a COVID vaccination?”. Each location will provide users with an address, operating hours, phone numbers, and the provider’s link to their website.
This update is the latest leap Apple has made in helping users with pandemic concerns and health protection. The company will begin rolling out the update ”in the coming weeks” in 20,000 locations with more coming.
