Deal: Pixelmator Pro now available for 50 percent off

Those that have been looking for a good alternative to Adobe Photoshop can now buy one for a cheaper price if they have a Mac.

Pixelmator Pro is on sale in the Mac App Store for 50% off its regular price, making it just $19.99. This is a great deal for consumers who are interested in a Photoshop substitute, especially for students that cannot afford it.

The app does have support for the M1 Macs that have been released over the past year.

The folks at Pixelmator have also hinted at updates coming to its upcoming 2.1 update that they listed on their website recently.

There is also the regular Pixelmator app in the Mac App Store that costs $29.99 at its regular price that has stayed the same, as well as the Pixelmator iOS and iPadOS apps, and the Pixelmator Photo app for the iPad that is also in the App Store.

Do you plan on buying Pixelmator Pro in the Mac App Store during this sale? Have you used it before? If so, so what did you think of it? Comment below or let us know on Twitter at @appleosophy.
