The popular Zoom video calling app will support iPad Pro’s Center Stage feature.
When Apple revealed the new M1 iPad Pro during April’s “Spring Loaded” Event, a new feature was added to the iPad – Center Stage.
The feature makes the front camera on the iPad Pro in frame with the user. Zoom is already integrating the feature in the app following Apple confirming the feature to be available for FaceTime rivals.
In the latest Zoom app update note, the company says:
“Utilizing Apple’s new Center Stage feature in Zoom, someone with their video on is kept in frame as they move around in the space in front of their iPad. “This creates a more dynamic and engaging video experience, and it eliminates the need to move your iPad to keep you in the center of the video.”
Other than the Center Stage feature, Zoom on the 12.9-inch iPad Pro will expand the Gallery View to up to 49 tiles, taking advantage of the massive screen on the tablet.
The new features are out when you download Zoom v5.6.6 from the App Store.
