The live TV streaming wars just got a little hotter today, as Hulu with Live TV added another channel to its lineup.
As of today, Hulu with Live TV has Oprah Winfrey Network in its channel portolfio. Users will now get live access to the channel, as well as access to its on-demand content such a “The Dr. Phil Show,” “20/20 on OWN,” “Ready to Love” and “Couples Court,” as well as originals like “The Kings of Napa” that premieres on Tuesday, January 11.
Tina Perry, president of OWN, said it was a perfect time to add the network to Hulu with Live TV.
“We are excited to partner with Hulu on this opportunity to connect with new audiences and expand viewership for our hit OWN programming across multiple platforms,” she said. “Hulu + Live TV is a great fit for OWN as a top destination for viewers and brands, providing world-class content and unique live entertainment events.”
Hulu with Live TV currently costs $69.99 a month, is accessible via the Hulu app that syncs with the Apple TV app, and is available to stream on the iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad, Apple TV and Mac.
