With more and more businesses beginning to accept Apple Pay as a payment method in-store and online, one popular American retailer has updated its website to do just that.
After years of waiting, Target’s website is now accepting Apple Pay. Previously, only its mobile apps and stores accepted Apple Pay.
Customers that use Target’s desktop or mobile websites will have access to using Apple Pay as a payment method. The only time when it appears as though Apple Pay is not accepted on its website is when the purchase is a same-day delivery order.
If you look at the image above, it does give the “Buy with Apple Pay” button towards the bottom of the screen and checkout page. This makes it so it will work for customers accessing the website from an iPhone, iPad or Mac and wish to pay with Apple Pay.
Those that pay with Apple Card as their payment method (after hitting the Apple Pay button on the website) will get 2% in Daily Cash on each order they make from the website, as well as its stores and app.
