It sounds like clear weather is coming to the skies of YouTube TV.

Byron Allen’s Media Group (AMG) has partnered with Google and will be bringing The Weather Channel this year to YouTube TV, with other channels and networks set to come later in the year.

The new deal will also enable AMG to use Google Cloud, which is set to apps faster and more efficient, and connect with the audience.

Byron Allen, founder, CEO and chairman of AMG this new partnership with Google will pave the path for a brighter future for both companies.

“All of our Allen Media Group properties are growing at an unprecedented rate, and our partnership with Google is a key step in our continued global transformation,” he said. “By leveraging Google’s technology, distribution, marketing, ad sales platforms, enormous capital support, and expertise, Allen Media Group will seamlessly build and enhance our reach and revenue worldwide.”

At this time, there is not a set date for when The Weather Channel will be added to YouTube TV’s channel lineup.

The Weather Channel is also available on Frndly TV, fuboTV and DirecTV Stream.

YouTube TV currently costs $64.99 a month and is available to stream on the iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad, Apple TV and Mac.
